TRAINING 

Chiddingfold U-16's train on every Tuesday night at either Chiddingfold football pitch or The Edge Sports Centre, Haslemere. The Edge training sessions are carried out on an all weather surface under floodlit conditions. It is very rare we have to cancel our sessions thanks to this facility.

Our training sessions consist of a combination of physical exercises, stamina building, ball control skills, match tactics and football games. There is always an eye on keeping the sessions informal but without detracting from achieving the goal (excuse the pun!) of improving the fitness and skills of all our squad.

Players of all abilities are welcome and it should be stressed that we make as much accommodation for players with less ability than those who are more accomplished. To this end, we try to entail a few games throughout the season for players who may not make regular appearances in the A-team. These are against other teams in the area or full matches comprising all of the squad, i.e. Chiddingfold Y v Chiddingfold Z.

This season we have the addition of our senior players training adjacent to us. We hope this will lead to a degree of familiarisation between the two squads and develope a kinship that helps any of our progeny who eventually move on into playing for Chidd senior teams in future years.
